Then the garage
The classic fall job: clear the garage so the cars actually fit before the first ice storm. Broken tools, old paint-free project leftovers, sports equipment and shelving usually fill a 20-yard with room to spare.
Then the basement
Basement cleanouts pair well with a garage job in the same rental — one bin, one flat price, one pickup. Keep prohibited items out (paint, tires, batteries) and everything below the brim.
