A weekend plan that actually works
Spring cleaning fails when you try to do everything at once with no place to put the junk. A driveway dumpster fixes that. Drop it Friday, work through your list Saturday and Sunday, get it hauled Monday.
Saturday: yard + garage
- Rake winter debris, prune dead branches, pull tumbleweeds
- Pull everything out of the garage onto the driveway
- Toss broken bikes, dried-out paint, expired chemicals (call us first — some can't go in)
- Sort keep / donate / dump
Sunday: basement + storage
- Pull bins from storage, sort by year
- Anything you haven't touched in 3+ years gets tossed or donated
- Old electronics, exercise equipment, broken furniture — into the bin
What stays out of the bin
- Paint cans (dry them out and bag them, or take to hazardous waste)
- Propane tanks
- Old TVs in some Colorado counties — call first
- Tires (recycle at a tire shop instead)
